where to find the best coffee in stockholm

The Swedes enjoy coffee so much that they make it part of their lifestyle and take ‘fika’, which is literally a Swedish coffee break.

Fika is a state of mind and many Swedes consider this essential and make time for this every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a small bite to eat.

We love this idea and we’ve listed where you can find the best coffee in Stockholm and enjoy fika too.

  • Thanks for the post, Rach. Those Swedes are definitely on to something! I say we introduce fika in Australia, too. I’d love to make it to Stockholm one day and if I do, I’ll be sure to check out some of the places you mentioned. What style of music does Kafé 44 generally have?

    • Thanks Marty! Yup, I’d love to see Fika introduced in Australia too 😉 As for what style of music they play in Kafe 44, you’ll have to tell me when you visit! I can’t remember that detail – I just remember that the coffee was great!
