Welcome to Venezuela!

Beauty. Hyperinflation. Resilience.

Very few countries in the world have this amount of sheer natural beauty: the world’s highest waterfall, Angel Falls, Andean peaks, pristine islands, Caribbean coastline, wildlife and the Orinoco Delta. Venezuela was once one of the most prosperous countries in South America, but at present, it is not recommended to travel to here.
Personal safety, particularly in Caracas, is worse than anywhere else on the continent and considered one of the most dangerous cities in the world. This is largely due to hyperinflation which has led to a huge drop in living standards and issues with the supply of basic goods and food for its people. We hope the situation dramatically improves very soon for this country and its people.
