Welcome to Myanmar!

Pagodas. Inle Lake. Welcoming Locals.

Myanmar (formerly Burma) is a Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 ethnic groups. Myanmar borders with China, India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Laos. Yangon (formerly Rangoon), the country’s largest city, is home to numerous parks and lakes, bustling markets and the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda, which contains Buddhist relics and dates back to the 6th century. People refer to Myanmar as what Thailand was 20 years ago. Tourism has been steadily growing over the past few years, a positive move for the local people who are very friendly and welcoming.
