About Guinea-Bissau

This tiny nation offers interesting landscapes, culture, tropical beaches and some fantastic animal life. You can find most of it in close proximity of the capital, Bissau. Wander around this city to see faded, dilapidated colonial-era houses which tell a story of this country’s history. Guinea-Bissau has endured decades of Portuguese colonisation, which were followed by a long liberation struggle and then cycles of civil war.
