After six months spent in West and Central Africa, we were ready for some sun, beach and some visa-free countries.

Can anyone say beautiful beaches? Antigua is full of them. Its jagged coasts include hundreds of little bays and beaches with the most beautiful turquoise waters you’ll ever see. If you can pluck up the willpower to leave your towel on that gorgeously perfect beach, you’ll find some cute little spots to explore. Hire a car and dodge the potholed small roads to discover Antigua beyond the beaches. Sip on a coffee and watch the yachties moor up at English Harbour or catch a bird’s eye views at Half Moon Bay. One thing is for sure – the locals are welcoming to visitors to this truly Caribbean island.
