Algeria is the largest country in Africa. Compared to the neighbouring country of Morocco which seems to attract an incredible number of tourists each year (and millions of dollars to match), Algeria remains unexplored.
There are two main cities: Algiers the city known for an incredible French architecture and Constantine, the city of bridges. There are also some amazing Roman ruins (Timgad, Tipasa, Djemila) that would certainly be packed if they were anywhere in Europe. Not to forget the Sahara region which covers 90% of Algeria.

Oran is one of Algeria’s largest and most significant cities.
Founded by Moorish Andalusian traders around AD 937, its history has been influenced by the Ottomans, Byzantines, Romans, Spanish & French, and Arabs to name just a few.
