About Algeria
Algeria is the largest country in Africa. Compared to the neighbouring country of Morocco which seems to attract an incredible number of tourists each year (and millions of dollars to match), Algeria remains unexplored. There are two main cities: Algiers the city known for an incredible French architecture and Constantine, the city of bridges. There are also some amazing Roman ruins (Timgad, Tipasa, Djemila) that would certainly be packed if they were anywhere in Europe. Not to forget the Sahara region which covers 90% of Algeria.
There are plenty of flights from Europe, yet getting a visa can be a difficult task.
