The embassy of Ghana is not far from downtown and easy to get to in a taxi or shared taxi. You will see a huge sign and a flag as you approach the embassy. The lady at the desk was quite nice and provided us with a list of requirements.
Despite the fact it stated that proof of residency is required, she suggested to simply write the address where we are staying. So we suggest you simply use the address of your hotel.
We were also asked to provide a letter addressed to the consul of the embassy explaining our purpose of visit – ie.tourism. You will find a set of tables with computers and printers only a few blocks away from the embassy. It’s a convenient set-up and this is where you can type your letter and print it.
The embassy will give you directions.
Single, as well as multi-entry visas, are available. We applied with an Australian and an EU passport and it took 2 days.
Location: 15th St, Monrovia, Liberia
Website: https://monrovia.mfa.gov.gh
The Consulate is located on a residential street not far from the Royal Grand Hotel. Google maps location is correct. The opening hours were 9 am until 3 pm. Processing time 2-3 days.
