How to get Liberia Visa in Dakar Senegal
Dakar is a great place to get a few visas in a week if you are travelling overland. The Embassy of Liberia is only a few blocks away from the Embassy of Ivory Coast so it works well if you are applying for both visas.
We applied for our Liberia visa on Monday afternoon. There were 2 options – normal processing costs 90,000 CFA (about $155), for express visa, add another 50,000 CFA ($86).
The lady here was super lovely and she allowed us to lodge the application and return the next day with a printed flight itinerary and a typed letter stating our reason to travel to Liberia.
The legal requirement is a letter of invitation, but if you don’t have one, you can simply write the purpose of your trip.
We returned to the embassy on Wednesday and had a brief interview with the Consul about our travels and plans in Liberia. The visa was issued a few minutes after our interview.
Opening hours were listed outside but seemed a bit random, so we’re not entirely sure. We suggest arriving before midday to lodge the visa.
We have EU and Australian passports. To check if you need Liberia Visa check this Wikipedia Page.

Google maps have the correct location and the embassy is right across the road from the Embassy of Brazil. A taxi should be around 1,500 ($3) from downtown, just ask them to go to the Embassy of Ivory Coast and then navigate them from there.
