Chiang Mai is easily one of my favourite places in Thailand.

After spending 6+ months travelling around this country, Chiang Mai was the place I returned a few times and stayed the longest.

Koh Mook stands out as one of the most beautiful Thai islands we’ve visited.

This small island in the Andaman Sea is hilly, covered in lush jungle, and refreshingly free from 7-Elevens, cars, and large crowds. 

Phayao, a small town in northern Thailand, is often overlooked by travellers but offers a calm, refreshing break from busier cities.

Only a short bus ride from Chiang Mai, it’s worth coming up for a visit. 

Tucked away in northern Thailand, Nan is an underrated gem that exudes charm, history, and natural beauty. 

While it’s not as famous as Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, Nan offers a quieter, more authentic experience that feels like stepping back in time.

When you think of Chiang Mai, temples and markets might come to mind, but there’s a hidden gem in the city not to be missed, the Monk’s Trail hike.

Chiang Mai feels a bit like a second home for me.

I’ve returned to this city many times to appreciate the culture, beauty, calm vibes and most importantly, the delicious Northern Thai cuisine.

Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s most favoured destinations and the list of amazing things to do in Thailand is endless.

This beautiful country is jam-packed with culture, stunning landscapes, delicious cuisine, welcoming people and so much more.
