A few months ago during our travels, somewhere between China and Bhutan, we found out about an epic travel competition to visit the Taiwan Islands and we wanted to win it!

The popular Australian travel series, Places We Go was looking for two people to be sent to the Taiwan Islands and vlog about their experience.

The trip was all expenses paid, spending money, an Osprey backpack, and a GoPro Hero camera.

Conditions of entry were to make a 60-second video on why we should be chosen to explore the Taiwan Islands and what we love about travel.

It turns out that our video won us the incredible trip to visit the Taiwan Islands! When we were told we’d won, we were somewhere in the desert in Oman, driving around this awesome little country for 7 days.

We were so happy once we found out we’d been chosen to be Rookie Travel Reporters in the Taiwan Islands, what an opportunity!
