Guinea Visa – Embassy of Guinea in Bissau Guinea Bissau
Bissau is a small capital by any means, so if you are travelling through, then getting your Guinea visa here is your best option. The consulate here is downtown so probably only a short walk from where you are staying. We have arrived on Tuesday morning and lodged our request for a visa.
Some travellers who applied in Dakar were advised that the cost of the Guinea visa here in Bissau is much lower as it is CFA 50,000 (about $86) in Dakar.
Only cash is accepted here. We did not need a copy of our Guinea-Bissau visa (we read this somewhere else that it was required). The man at the consulate was friendly. He doesn’t speak English, only French or Portuguese.
Multi-entry visas are available. We returned at 12.30 pm and our Guinea Visa was ready.
We applied with Australian and EU passports.
