About Chad

Chad often sits at the end of a list of African countries you are ever likely to want to visit. A landlocked country in north-central Africa. Neighbouring countries are Niger, Libya, Sudan, the Central African Republic, Cameroon and Nigeria. Chad has long been known as a demanding country to explore. Even when it is safe to visit, which it is currently not, it’s tough going. The entire country map is marked as red, which means all governments advise against all travel. Be sure to check the current security situation before you make plans to visit.
