The perfect beach destination, Barbados is a fantastic option for Americans this summer as it’s only a short flight away. However, there used to be a direct flight from London which was very affordable. So if you are from the UK, it’s worth checking it out.
On another note, there is more to Barbados than just beaches. The birthplace of rum has some cool caves and hiking options. And the food is yummy.
If you ask us we are happy to see Barbados on the list of countries open for vaccinated tourists.

All fully vaccinated international travellers can enter the Bahamas without proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
You don’t need to be a Game of Thrones fan to have Croatia on your bucket list. As of April 1, anyone can travel to Croatia if they present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Please note, the final dose must be administered at least 14 days before arrival.
What is there to see and do? Firstly, let’s start with the historic towns of Dubrovnik or Split. Both are naturally the entry point for travellers flying in. Moreover, Croatia is also a foodie haven!
Think black truffles, amazing prosciutto, fresh seafood, and excellent wine. Each region has something else to offer. With more than 1700km of coastline and over 1200 islands, the crystal clear waters of Croatia are some of the best in Europe.
It’s no surprise that Croatia is one of the most exciting addition to the list of countries open for vaccinated tourists.
The small island nation of Cyprus in the middle of the Mediterranean sea is also one of the countries open for vaccinated tourists from selected countries only. Therefore, make sure you check the list.
Most European nations and the USA are on the list. A copy of your vaccine certificate must be uploaded onto the Cyprus Flight Pass platform.
Visit Cyprus has full details of the latest plan, including more on its traffic light system for country categorisation.
The summer months are warm and dry, and perfect for enjoying the island’s many beaches. We love the laidback feel and since Cyprus is small you can see a lot of the island in a short time. Don’t miss Paphos’ ancient ruins.
Estonia was ahead of the game when it comes to its border restrictions. Back on the 10th of February, the Estonian ministry confirmed that fully vaccinated travellers can enter without quarantine. The day of your second vaccine must be in the past 6 months.
Before the pandemic, Estonia was already the shining star of the Baltic regions. Tallinn, the capital is a charming cobblestone town that you can explore over a few days. Fantastic restaurants with local delicacies and exceptional architecture are only some of the highlights. There are also thee amazing National Parks. So if you love untouched beauty and nature, you venture out. A great option for a vacation as one of the countries open for vaccinated tourists.
When it comes to Greece, it’s an easy choice for the perfect summer holiday. The toughest decision is which island to go to, or if to stick to the mainland.
You can explore the ancient ruin of Athens and then settle in the many coastal holiday towns. Why not spent two weeks here and follow our guide for Greece in two weeks for any budget or this ideal 1 Day itinerary for Athens.
Effective as of April 19, vaccinated travellers from the EU, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, Rwanda, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Serbia, and the UAE are allowed to enter Greece without having to quarantine.
We were super excited to see Georgia making the list. One of our all-time favourite countries in the world, Georgia is a real hidden gem and a sort of off the beaten path destination. If you are looking for an easy beach destination, Georgia is probably not it, although it does have a coast.
The capital Tiblisi offers a charming setting of a picturesque old town and some of the coolest hipster cafes and restaurants. The locals are super friendly and venturing outside the city will also pay off.
You can choose to head out and visit the famous wine regions or travel north for mountains in Kazbegi or Svaneti regions.

All vaccinated travellers can enter Georgia without quarantine. Proof of both vaccine shots is required.
A little gem in the Caribbean, Grenada is one of the best islands in this part of the world. It has the perfect island package – stunning beaches, a laidback vibe and delicious food.
Trust us – we ate around there on our Food Tour of Grenada.
As of May 1, Grenada has reduced the quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated travellers who are two weeks out from their second vaccines shot. Vaccinated travellers will still need to provide a negative PCR test result no more than 72 hours before travel.
First you must have another test done at the airport. Secondly, you must quarantine until those test results come back (up to 48 hours). More information can be found at Pure Grenada.
Iceland was one of the countries with the best response when the pandemic began. Now it’s welcoming tourists once again, but there are some conditions.
Those presenting a valid certificate of vaccination or prior infection must undergo a single test at the border. They must wait for the test result at their place of residence and follow quarantine rules until the result is available. More changes are coming on 1st of June.
For more info see: Visit Iceland
What to see in Iceland? Check out the quirky capital Reykjavik. Chase some amazing waterfalls. Or simply be in awe of the landscapes of this small and unique country. Oh, and if you are travelling in June, make sure you bring your sleep mask. Becuase it only gets dark here for a few hours at night during the summer.

As of the 11th of January, travellers arriving in Lebanon who can prove they’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt from having to quarantine. However, as a precaution, all arrivals have to take a COVID-19 PCR test ($50, paid to the airline).
You will still need to take a PCR test at least 96 hours before you travel to Lebanon. If you cannot prove this at check-in at your departure airport, you will not be allowed to travel.
What to do and see in Lebanon? Check out the many quirky cafes and cool restaurants in the very trendy Beirut.
After that, head out north to explore the beaches and finish with world-class Roman ruins at Baalbek (and how to get there from Beirut using public transport).
But most importantly, don’t forget to eat a lot – Lebanese food is one the best in the world.
If you are keen to travel further from home, then Seychelles must be it and it completes our list of countries already open for vaccinated tourist.
Although there is no requirement to be fully vaccinated to enter, it strongly suggests for visitors to be vaccinated. You need to show certificate of vaccination.
A negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of travel will also be requested upon arrival.
